Policies and Publication Ethics
SciFormat Publishing follows the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing of The Committee on Publication Ethics.
The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) has developed a set of core practices that provide guidance for ethical conduct in scholarly publishing. Here are the SciFormat Publishing core practices that were incorporated into a set of our policies and publication ethics:
Policies:
- We only publish original, high-quality research that has been conducted in an ethical and responsible manner.
- We take all allegations of research misconduct seriously and will investigate them according to COPE guidelines.
- We maintain the confidentiality of our peer review process and do not disclose any information about our reviewers or their comments without their permission.
- We disclose any potential conflicts of interest by our authors, reviewers, or editors.
- We clearly state our open access policies and any associated fees.
Publication Ethics:
- We expect all authors to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct when conducting and reporting their research.
- We only publish work that is original and has not been plagiarized.
- We do not tolerate any form of research misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
- We expect all reviewers to treat manuscripts confidentially and to disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- We make every effort to ensure that all published work is accurately represented and that errors are corrected promptly.
