Plagiarism is defined as using another author's work without permission or proper citation. The Editor will reject manuscripts with less than 80% original content before peer review.

SciFormat Publishing Press, while defining plagiarism, takes into account the following definitions:

Literal copying
This type of plagiarism is the act of reproducing someone else's work word for word, in whole or in part, without obtaining permission or giving proper credit to the original source. This type of copying is considered a clear violation and can be easily identified by plagiarism detection software.

Substantial copying
Reproducing a significant portion of someone else's work without permission and citation is considered plagiarism. In determining what constitutes a "significant" portion, both the amount and importance of the copied material are taken into account. The significance of the copied text is evaluated by comparing it to the entire work. Even if a relatively small portion of the work is copied, if it contains the core of the original work, plagiarism is identified.

Paraphrasing
Plagiarism can also occur when the material is not copied verbatim but rather rephrased in one's own words. This is known as paraphrasing and it can be challenging to detect. The presence of plagiarism in a manuscript is not tolerated and will result in immediate rejection by the editorial board and potential penalties for the authors.
